Dear Families,
It is wonderful to see our school community coming together, and I am grateful for the many ways our families help make our school such a special place for students to learn and grow.
We had a wonderful Trick-or-Treat Night and Movie Event hosted by our amazing PTO! It was a joy to see so many families come out to enjoy the festivities, spend time together, and create special memories. Events like these help strengthen the connection between home and school and build the sense of community that makes our school so special. A huge thank-you to our PTO volunteers, staff, and everyone who helped make the evening such a success!
I am also excited to share that student attendance is improving! Thank you for making school attendance a priority and ensuring your children arrive ready to learn. Every day in the classroom matters, and consistent attendance helps students build strong relationships, stay engaged in learning, and experience success. Let’s continue working together to make every school day count!
As we move forward, our staff continues to review and reinforce school expectations with students. We are taking time to revisit what it means to be respectful, responsible, safe, and ready to learn throughout the school day. These reminders help students understand the importance of making positive choices, treating others with kindness, and contributing to a welcoming learning environment. We appreciate your support in reinforcing these expectations at home as well.
Please be sure to review the flyers included with this newsletter! We have lots of exciting events and activities coming up, including some new opportunities you may not have heard about yet. Be sure to check out the information about Red Ribbon Week, including the fun daily dress-up themes listed on the flyer. Red Ribbon Week is a great opportunity for us to encourage students to make healthy choices and remind them of the importance of taking care of themselves and one another. We would love for everyone to participate in the dress-up days!
The flyers contain important dates, details, and reminders to help your family plan ahead, so please take a few moments to review them carefully. We don’t want you to miss out on all the wonderful things happening at our school!
Many Stars, One Bright Galaxy!
Warm regards,
Lauren Sanders
