Dear Families,

This short week went by fast and we had a wonderful week. We ended the week with our grandparents day lunch and it was a wonderful event. We would like to thank our PTO for hosting such a special event for our grandparents and students.   

As we continue to navigate the year, we want to thank you for your continued effort in getting your students to school and doing so on time. We have significantly cut down on tardies this year and we appreciate the efforts from our families in helping us do so. As a reminder, please do not drop your students off in the parking lot. We do not have supervision in the parking lots and it creates a safety issue. Also, your student is tardy if they are not in their seat by 7:35. You will need to park and get out to sign them in. Mr. Smith and I have been setting up cones to help our parents know when they need to park and walk your students in. Please make sure you are following the expectations so that we can properly ensure your students safety. 

We would like to share with you all that you may nominate a someone on our campus for the HEB excellence award. This is a great way to show our staff some love who work hard day after day for our students.

We have the best school community. We love our families and students and we hope you have a relaxing long weekend. Remember, no school on Friday September 18.

When visiting, you must check in at the front desk, show proper ID, and get a visitor pass. Please arrive a few minutes before the start of their lunch to insure time to check in.

Seating is limited to the the white tables outside the library or the picnic tables outdoors. These tables are first come and we ask you share with others if needed.  

Also, remember that lunch is with your student only, not with friends. This is for safety and allergies.

You will meet your student at the White Tables in the Library area outside the Café, not at the top of the ramp or in the café.  If you arrive after lunch begins, we will call the student from the cafeteria to come join you.
